Situations in public

What's the deal with the way people ignore everyone else when you are in a public Setting. There is always that awkward silence and you feel like you should say something but really don't want to. Have you ever been in a crowded space and you just try not to make eye contact and so you stare at the wall it sucks. But what can you do everyone is afraid to go out of there comfort zone. So just remember you might be standing next to a guy who is about to blow up the whole bus because he has no friends and no one will talk to him.
