Who Shot All the Night Owls???

So its college right? No curfew right? But, still in this highly intellectual and "live like your young" society everyone I know acts like grandparents. News flash even though dorms have the security of most prison like Retirement homes, it does not mean we all have to go to bed at 8 and wake up at 5 in the morning. I for one am a strong advocate of the stay up till 4 and sleep until 2 idea. Yes, that is what I did yesterday. Now I can understand your need to get to bed on school nights that's fine. But when it's Saturday night and its 11:30 and everyone is in bed I just want to start vandalizing something. Well fine, I guess as the saying goes growing up really does mean growing old. Good night children make sure to eat your vegetables and tell me that I can't have icecream before my meals. Oh wait never mind, I hope you ground yourselves!!! (ok wow reading over this I notice I have some serious anger issues, whatever.)

  • i hear ya! thursday night
    (friday morning) i was up til 4:00 and slept in til 10:00 (only because i had a class), and then next night it was 3:15 to 9:15 (only because i had to work at 9:30), and then last night 1:20 to 12:30 (only because i had to be somewhere at 1) and then tomorrow i have work at 8am, and i would rather sleep than be a night owl though.

  • Wow. Around here, pretty much everyone stays up until around 3 in the morning every night (I have 9am classes and even I'm up till at least 2).

  • people like you wanting to vandalize the place is why we have the stinken check-ins...but yeah, I don't get the whole going to bed early thing, ecspecially on wkds. Now i just need to remember to call you at 2am on weekdays and i'm bored.
