Apply within!

There have been a few people who said they would read this blog more if I wrote about them. And I being a selfless individual decided, "Hey that’s a good idea." Therefore, in the coming days I will be accepting applications for writing a blog about someone. I don't even have to really know you but hey why not everyone likes here other people talk about them. So if you want me to immortalize you through this magnificent medium we call the "written word". Write a comment in the comment space below. If you are not a member you can go up to the little box that says “get your own blog” and become a member so you can write a comment. (I’m pretty sure you can become a member without getting your own blog if not I’m going to try to make it so anyone can comment on this blog) When you submit your comment make sure to include a little note about why your a worthy candydate.   • Well, I think that I'm a good "candidate" b/c I'm the one who inspired you and that deserves a little credit I think. Not to mention a story! Heaven knows you've known me long enuf! I know where you sleep and now where you study, I just have to find that guy with the lift and some sound proof glass in the twin cities. Hmm. plus i had the good fire alarm story. So that's why i think that you should choose me, bachlorette #1. Plus I have another good, random story you'll like. It involves a hill, a cart, me, a blue towel and the bendictine values of St. Scholastica.

  • He has a good point there. I've known bachlorette #1 a long time, she's definately the only starfish in the sea worth catching. And cliffhangers are always a thrilling place to be!

  • I can't believe you Kuplic...so much for going to college...you have a little too much time on your hands. If only we all had the smooth writing style of you we'd all be aceing our english classes. Do you ever do your homework--oh i forgot you have a study spot with the view of a guy with the lift.   • I am the Anonymous that nominated both the bachlorette #1 and the statue. But I believe at this point that the statue would be the best canidate!! Michael, Michael, Michael... You see me almost everyday...I can't believe you don't know who I am. I am not like the other self-centered people who nominate themselves... Of course I love them all since I know them all pretty well but I am standing up for the statue's rights (okay that was bs but the article would still be interesting)...Michael...it's obvious to choose the statue or else I won't reveal who I am...

  • If you're nominating a statue from your school, I'm nominating ne from my school. It's called Scary Mary. It's a huge white statue out in the middle of the woods that basically glows in the dark and if you didn't know what it was would scare the crap out of you. Another interesting fact about Scary Mary: It's actually a statue of Jesus. There is a rumor that Mary's head fell off (it was struck by lightening) and they put a Jesus head on, but that's been shot down. I swear, I'm not making this up.

  • I'm sorry I copied the statue idea, but Scary Mary is awful cool. Does your statue even have a name.
    And let me remind you all that we wouldn't be having this convo if it wasn't for me refusing to read Mike's blog unless I was on it. And THAT's what inspired him to do this whole thing!!

  • Mike, I would just like to say that I didn't tell my roomies to send you messages voting for me, I was laughing about it and they did it themselves.
