My Puppet class

So now that I don’t have anything really funny to talk about, because somehow I lost my game. I’m going to begin just letting you know what I do each day. It’s a little less interesting but I think it will get us back on track. First thing I want to tell all of you about it my puppet class. That is right this old school Sesame Street fan has finally taken the wheel and began making puppets of his very own. First of all the class is called, May Day parade, Art and Society. It is an honors seminar which means I get two free credits. Yeah! A typical class period begins with me meeting my fellow puppeteers in the skyway and driving to Heart of The Beast Theater. This is abbreviated HOTB, (For a while I would see this abbreviation and not really know what it meant. It kind of looks like hobbit, so I thought about lord of the rings for a while.) Anyways the lady who is teaching the class with my teacher, is a great person. She is very earthy if that is a good word for it and reminds me of a hippy. She likes to talk about how we feel energy in ourselves and stuff. It is kind of weird but I enjoy it because I feel like I’m immersing myself in a new way of thinking. So they make these huge puppets out of paper Mache and cardboard and just crazy stuff you would find around the house. I have been assigned to the construction of the dragon puppet for the May Day Parade. I will talk about this more next time I go and relate my experiences here along with some pictures too.
