The Bitter Resemblance
In this next post, I was be critically evaluating one of my new favorite comic strips. The strip is called White Ninja. Upon showing it to one of my friends who had never seen the strip before, she remarked. "Wow that is such a Kuplic joke." So as you can see, not only does this strip hold a special place in my heart, but it also fits well with my personality. As you can see I have chosen a very special strip to your left, and I will proceed in interoperating its relevance in my life. However, first I will give you some background on why this particular comic hit home with me. On regular intervals my dad would come home from work and call my name throughout the house. He would say, "Hey dude! I have a present for you." He would say in a tone that assumed that he was about to give me some great surprised gifts. Once every blue moon it would be some extra golf balls from work. In light of this possibility every time my dad would say, that he had something for me, I would become as excited as a new puppy waiting to go on a walk. But also like a puppy, sometimes I would start running like an idiot when someone pretended to throw a ball but really just faked me out. Most of the time, that is what happened. My Dad would come home and say, "Hey Mike I got a present for you." And I'd be all naively like "Oh boy oh boy!" He would say, "It's in the back of the car go check it out." and there sitting in the bed of the trunk would be six forty-pound bags of salt for the water softener, that he wanted me to haul into the house. Additionally, sometimes I feel younger than I actually am and that life is going by too fast. Thus, this is additionally alluding to the nature of the five year old boy in this strip. But, like white ninja I like to keep life interesting and do random funny awkward things.

why isn't the son a ninja? clearly if the dad is a ninja, the son should also be a ninja.
